Miz and Truth have officially been released by WWE according to their Twitter account and also on WWE . com as well.... Effective 2day 9/19/11

WWE has come to terms on the release of The Miz and R-Truth as of today, Sept. 19, 2011. WWE wishes Miz and R-Truth the best in all of their future endeavors.

Yes, Miz and R-Truth did get fired. Pretty much anybody who gets fired ends up coming back usually on a PPV. So I don't think it's a permanent firing. I hope it's not permanent because I like the Miz.
