come to come conclusion...? only to be amazed at the outcome...again and again ? Eg, you talk about a serious topic where a sister may have fallen into Shirk Al-Akbar, and you offer them proofs, etc etc...but instead of that, they amuse themselves in lesser matters..indulging in conspiracy theories...and is apparently from those who call towards sunnah ? By Allaah, I have never been as confused as I have been with sisters.... Any other brothers in this situation ? Also it reminds me of these ayaat !!
??????? ??????? ????????? ????? ?????? ????????????? ??????? ????? ???????? ?????????? ?????? ??????? - ??????? ????????? ??? ??????????? ?????? ??? ?????????? ?????? ???????
(17. And if one of them is informed of the news of that which he sets forth as a parable to the Most Gracious, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with grief!) (18. A creature who is brought up in adornments, and who in dispute cannot make itself clear)
Ibn Katheer (r) said regarding this "means, women are regarded as lacking something, which they make up for with jewelry and adornments from the time of childhood onwards, and when there is a dispute, they cannot speak up and defend themselves clearly, so how can this be attributed to Allah"
Time and again I see something in a sister, I try to give her naseehah, offer her advice, proofs, etc...but she can't be bothered with that...and I find her discussing which is better, silver or gold ....? And this is from a serious student of knowledge..apparently. Honestly, the ayaat of Allaah are trully ayaat ! By Allaah, the prophet was truthful in this matter as in every matter !
have you noticed this, brothers ?
Ok then, sisters can answer it as well...but thats the ayaat of Allaah...what can you say ? Maybe, you can learn from it, or help us to udnerstand ways to get through to you...honestly, I feel like giving up when I see a sister who I can give naseehah to, because I say, whats the point, if she doesn't agree, she will probably just stop the discussion cold-turkey ...but I know this is wrong, naseehah is from the deen, but aargh..which way to go...by Allaah, very confusing!!!
Maryam, the ayah is for the sisters specifically. I can bring ahadeeth as well if you want, but I will suffice with these ayaat. I don't mean to hurt any sisters feelings, just stating what I have noticed many many times. Even with my relatives, its amazing how emotinal they become and resort to amazingly strange arguments.....
