Brown discharge after sex?

My girlfriend has been having brown discharge after intercourse. Her last period was a little more than a week ago, and she's on birth control.. After that Last week we went without a condom for a while before putting it on(may or may not be relevant). This week after sex there has been brown odorless discharge probably old blood appearing in light amounts. Is it a infection? STD? Something else? Should we be worried?

Go get her tested for STD's right away just to be sure!! (both of you all actually). It could be a lot of different things, just go get her checked out...
