Well I'm 18 and i'm thinking of buying a dirt bike. I don't have a motorcycle liscense but I wanna get a dirt bike to practice on. When I buy a dirt bike what all do I have to do legally? I'd probably buy one off of craigslist. Do I have to pay a tax for buying it? What all do I have to do to beable to ride it around my neighborhood? Registering it and insurance? Can I just buy it pay the tax and practice in my neighborhood (I'd practice without a motorcycle liscence and I'd hope I didn't get caught by the police)? I just wanna know everything that'd need to be done.
