I'm looking to buy another bike and was wondering what is consider high mileage for a super sport bike. I live and Michigan and
People here say not to buy a used one with over 10,000 miles. I'm looking to buy a 1000cc bike( yes I've been riding for a while ) How many miles is to many?

If you've been riding long enough to take advantage of a liter bike, then you should know that mileage means little in comparison to maintenance.

If you want a number, 100k.

Mileage minus maintenance means misery on any motorcycle, super-sports just demand more.

When I sold my GSXR1000 it had almost 40,000 miles, but it ran like a new bike and had all the work done it needed. That's the key. If the bike was ridden sanely, and maintained, high miles isn't anything to be afraid of from a mechanical perspective, but make sure you get a steep discount. It can be really hard to sell a high mileage motorcycle when you want something different. I found that our first-hand.
