I have a calculator that is partly broken and I want to fix it. It is just a simple calculator (not scientific or graphing). I just want to learn how to fix it. I opened it up and the chip is fine and intact. The only thing that is broken is the display's connection to the chip. It is a wide, short, and thin piece of clear plastic with black lines going through it. This is completly cut off from the chip.
How do I fix it? Do I have to by a new screen? Thank you
