^^^ Do you mean Stats is easier to take, or that its harder to take.
If easier than i totally agree, if harder well then you sir are Special.
I made a thread on Calculus cuz you can get help here and shit dude, your not in the class so you have no idea the high level of difficulty, boredom and crappyness the classes of Calculus actually are.
uhg, calc, what a headache, and I like math (or thought I did). Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't my first class in the morning.
Although apparently my teacher used to work as a computer programer for an engineering firm that worked on stuff like the Canada-arm, so at least I know that he knows his shit (no I don't have proof/pics and I really don't care who wants to call shens)
im already past all the tests. i only have to apply it in other classes, i can still do it all by hand, but having a ti-89 makes life so much easier now.
WTF? Your state must not give a fuck about subjects that actually matter, if you are only required to take one year of math. In Iowa we're required to take three, soon to be four, I think.
Makes me appreciate that I got study hall 1st period.
and if you have problems with typing in an angle and remembering which 2 sides it correlates to and a lil division, you really shouldnt be in calc.
was supposed to take it this year as a freshy. i went to online school and am just cruising thru this year doign work about 10 hours a month instead of 250+ like normal school. so i might take it next year, cant decide. i hated the advanced trig we did, and supposedly thats a lot like calc.
I fucking hate that. All these high school kids bitch about taking a calculus class. I don't think half of them understand that this shit is used in the real world and depending on what they go in to, will be used in other classes. In first year engineering, I have 4 classes this year that used calculus (including a true full year calc class). Next year I have 5-6 classes that include calculus stuff (including another full year calc class).
Yeah, I wish we had a homework thread for that kind of thing. Oh, wait...
