I don't recall if this is a NE (Noninterference engine) engine or not. if it is an NE the cost will vary depending on the labor of the shop and the cost of parts, average price for a timing belt is around 200 to 300 dollars. If it is an interference engine, you may want to have the shop scope the cylinders to check to see if the valves and pistons are intact. if not, you need to have a new engine.
