I'm a sweet girl, and he's a sarcastic guy. We have common interests, we don't fight, we're both perfectly courteous with each other but for me, I have no romantic interest in him. I'm 90% sure that he's attracted to me, but it's just not working. It's like I can't be my sweet self if his sense of humor (and thinking) is the total opposite, and his sarcasm ruins several nice moments for me.
So my question is, has a relationship ever worked if the couple's sense of humor is totally different, even if on paper everything else matches? In my case there's more to this incompatibility than that, but I'm just asking you if you've ever seen it work? I'm just wondering how much a sense of humor is a factor as far as compatibility goes.
