Can a predicted future come true? Or can you change it?

I had a reading and it said something that really scared me.... so my question is can you change an uncharted future?
 
Yes, especially when your aware of the possible outcomes, allowing you to choose the outcome you desire. Btw, I don't believe in psychics but I do think people can predict something because most things in life follow a certain pattern.
