Can a switch to a Blackberry on verizon ?

i have a verizon phone and i am buying a Blackberry Bold. i am not due for an upgrade. i want to switch to a blackberry. can i do this ? does it cost money ? can someone walk me through this process because i am very confused ! thanks :)
also, i have 2 other phone's on my account. i'm planning on switching mine with the blackberry like i said, will i have to make an entire new account and have a new plan ? or will it stay on the same plan and same everything just a different phone ? please help ! i'm so lost :(
 
How did Verizon answer your question? Certainly Verizon would be your best source for an accurate answer.
