Can a virus transferred itself into a WoW DVD/CD?

I think I had a virus, it was located into my AddOn's folder of my WoW.

So, before, I installed WoW before I got the virus. I do not clarify if I reinstalled it while virus was present, though, I don't think I did.

Is it possible the virus could have still be in my DVD/CD for WoW? Or, if so, should I use the Web Client from Battle.net?
 
No the world of warcraft DVD can not become infected as it is not rewritable, the content on the disc will always stay the same.

If you have made your own copy of world of warcraft then this could be the case, you may have an infected DVD.
 
Yes definitely. a Virus can easily come from a cd
