Can an old iPhone 3GS that has no service but wi fi be used as an Itouch?

I'm connected to wi fi and everything. Can I use pandora? I tried it but it didn't work but I'm not sure I did it right
I tried slacker radio but it also wasn't working. Something about "having trouble accessing the internet" or something so I tried the internet and it works perfectly fine.

Yes you can, that's what I do for my 3G, just hook it up to wifi and your good! Although sometimes it will say the "Phone needs service" but just ignore that.

Yes, that's exactly what I did when I didnt have a sim card in my 3GS! And pandora should work too, since it's working just like an itouch. Hope I helped!
