Can an oscar be introduced with african ciclids from young to mix with them ?

I am have just setup a my tank for ciclids and its ready to add fish now.
I want to have african ciclids and to get 1 oscar or a green terror.
I will have lots of rocks and caves in the tank also.the fella in the pet store says that he has seen it done successfully.
I have a 70 gallon tank that has 2 x 1000l/h external filters.
All comments welcome i am asking to get opions on this matter.
then i can make a choice what to do.

I think Oscars are predatory, so you better have a good supply of feeder fish.
