i have a simple problem, iv asked and looked up EVRYWHERE and absoloutly NOONE can give me a proper or reasonable answer.
its simple really, i have a LG DVD Burner, it was working fine b4, it will read all dvds and cds BUT now for some reason it wont read ANY data burnt CDs / DVDs, if i stick a data DVD in the drive the drive will change to a "CD-rom" drive with a blank disk in there (the dvds arnt blank they wrork on my other pc and they worked b4 this all happend). if i take out the data cd and then stick in a game dvd (CALL OF DUTY 2) for instance, it will read it and run the autostart. then if i take it out and put the data cd back in, the DVD drive will Reconize it and COD2 again and even start the COD2 Autostart when its the DATA CD inside it not the COD2 cd. Before this all happend i really dont recall my dvd drive being labled DVD-"RAM" drive, im pretty sure that "RAM" at the end just appeared there when all this started happening.
ONLY thing i have recently done is repair my XP installation files from boot CD bcause i switched my motherboard, but how does that effect my DVD player not reading data CD's and Thinking the data CDs is the previously inserted Game DVD?
S0meone pleaeaese help me its driving me nuts NOONE has an answer for it!!
