It's kinda weird but I keep my betta in a one gallon tank and I always have to clean it up many times. My dad is keep on saying that a bigger tank is much more work than a smaller tank. Is that true or false? When I was a kid I bought some fish then they died the next day. Maybe I didn't know anything. XD Can anyone tell me how many times you have to feed them, the temp, how big the tank should be, supplies you need for a 10 gallon tank, and other facts. Sorry for asking to many things... I just need help so I can prove that I can take care of a big tank. One more thing, which kind of pet store has good supplies for a cheap price.

False. The system in a smaller tank is too difficult to maintain. Water quality will quickly degrade.

It can be assumed that your fish died when you were younger because introducing too many fish would create an ammonia spike.

A larger tank is easier, and healthier for the fish.

well for every inch of a fish there should be one gallon of water.
yes a bigger fish tank is more work.
Betta's need heaters because they are tropical fish. the tank temp should not fall below 78 degrees.
they will take pellets or flakes as a staple diet, but they should be fed meaty foods at least twice a week. Good foods are freeze-dried or frozen bloodworms, brie shrimp, or blackworms. just feed them once or twice every day.

the bigger the tank the more easy the smaller the harder
