Can anyone help me, Some internet pages won't load.?

I can access the internet, (am using IE) google works and it searches, however 70% of pages I go onto won't load. It can't be anything to do with the Modem or that my internet isn't working as my brother is able to connect and access all websites inc.msn on his laptop.

I think I may have accidently pressed something as yesterday it was working fine.

I have tried system restore and reset all web browsers, but still no luck.

Can anyone offer any help? Thanks, and have a lovley day.
 
If it were your security settings you would be alerted by ie8 and if you disabled flash or java it would just stop some content from loading, try going to ie options and returning everything to the default settings if that doesnt work try a different browser.
 
Sounds like you may have enabled some sort of security settings ?

I bet its not letting you view websites that leave cookies or something like that, have a look at your security details
