im only 18 and i found out that my blood pressure is 148. i've been arguing with my ex-girlfriend. is this normal?

Not significantly.

It may trigger a heart attack, but only if there is an existing problem such as high cholesterol -and if this happens, you were one step away from a heart attack anyway.

If your cardiovascular system is in good shape, an argument will not affect your blood pressure enough to be concerned with.

yep. Go put your feet up and relax before you do some damage to your heart.
