Can cats drink cold water or do they prefer warm milk to much?

Usually, I feed my cat by cat food and cold water. Is this fine? Should I consider giving it a warm milk or something like that? Please share your experience with me if you can.

im not really sure what they prefer but i usually just give mines warm milk,im not sure if their apettite is affected by the weather so on like really hot days i just give it cold milk.
