can ferrets convert to islam?

Australia has a problem with rabbits I was thinking if we could convert them to islam , we could send them down rabbit burrows , with vests holding C4 on shouting Allah Akbar and blow the rabbits up
 
I know a guy that has 4 rabbits and believe me it is not as neat as it sounds. Things don't go as smoothly as you first envision it.
