I live in a small town, and my backyard is pretty closed off and there is no places for preditors to live because there is no bushes near(and we dont get any foxes or many snakes around where i live anyway) and nobody in my street has cats. Can my guinea pigs live outside and sleep outside at night in the cage if it has a cover over it? Also my cage is in a nice shady spot that gets the early morning sun and when it gets around 12:30 its in shade.
(My cage is a 2 story secure wooden hutch. But at night time i was planing to cover up the hole to go down the ramp with a peice of wood and they can stay upstairs at night time. (Thats where the sleeping box is and there is some room to run around also) My cage has a large roof over hanging it so no rain can get it.
(Also i know that they cant handle extreme hot and cold whether, i will bring them into an inside cage when the whether is not suitable)
