Can I Add Minutes To A Net10 Phone Thats A Year Old?

I bought a Net10 phone last year to be used on a road trip, and never added minutes to the phone when it expired. I checked Best Buy, and they still carry the same phone. Can i still add minutes even though its an old phone?
