Can I afford this truck? Getting out of the Marines soon.?

I have about 11,000 in the bank now,

The truck is a 2004 F-150 for 14,000.

I still have to get a job when I get out, I am due to make about 3.600 more and i get a bonus after taxes of about 3,000 more. total maybe 16,000 dollars.

I know I can buy it, what is the smartest way to go about doing so? Obviously you don't pay it off in full right away. Like an 8,000 down payment or what? I'm also figuring that I need an apartment which I can get for about 400 bucks a month.

Can you help? Thanks
 
What a piece of sh!t of a vehicle you chose to buy. And by the way, you can get at least a 2008 model for $14,000.
