...able to watch them on my DVD player? I have purchased a number of tv shows and a few movies from itunes, and have been watching them on my laptop. I was wondering can I burn them to a DVD-R and watch them over my tv instead or can't you do that with itunes. I have a DVD burner on my laptop, but do not have discs to burn the tv shows and movies. . .just want to know if it itunes will allow you to do that.

You could use a Screen Recorder Program and record your screen while you re-watch it, and burn that to a DVD.
 
On Mac, open Finder, navigate to music folder, inside iTunes Folder search for movie you wanna watch. insert a Blank DVD and burn that movie.

On windows, open users folder in c drive, go to the username's folder, navigate to Music folder and in iTunes folder search for the movie you wanna watch. Insert a Blank DVD and burn that movie.
