can i get a $17000 truck with a 551 fico score?

i've got a few debts on my credit and some good marks as well. my fico is at 551 and i need a truck for work. the only decent truck i've found is 17000 dollars is it possible to get a car loan with this poor fico score?

It really depends on how reliable your income appears and how much you can put down at signing. Use a dealership that has a financial guy on staff. They want to sell the car (truck) they will find a way.

You are going to need a lot of money down or a co-signer with excellent credit to get that loan.
It is getting harder and harder for the banks to approve people nowadays because they don't want to take any chances.
I apologize if this seems harsh but I sell cars for a living and I have to tell hard working Americans that I can't help them all the time.
It's a vicious circle since you need credit to be able to get credit.
