Hi, well to start I've only had a couple cheap phones from alltel so I'm having a hard time deciding what to get since i've never got my own service away from the family plan on alltel since my dad is ending it soon.
So I've looked into many smartphones and it seems tough with so much competition and many reviews are biased or flawed.
First what i'm looking for is a phone that has
-Chat like texting ( cant stand going back and figuring out the old way)
-I need good call quality
-I'd like to have a good battery life
-wifi
-web that includes youtube and such that can play those videos
-definitely a phone that is easy to text with and comfortable, i text often
-I like the idea of push email as well
- if a touch screen, I would prefer the accelerometer so I can text sideways as well.
I was liking the storm till all the reviews and now I'm thinking possibly the "Omnia" but the texting space seems a little odd and i'm not positive on everything. My friend has the G1 and he likes it, seems cool but the battery life on it is a turn off but tmobile sounds a little cheaper than others. Of course the blackberrys, maybe bold iunno yet.
And on choosing a service I'm having a hard time.
At&t has the bold, but no favorites or my circle and expensive
while verizon seems like a good one, but no fav or anything and expensive
and tmobile I know has the fav 5 which helps but I dont talk much anyhow.
I'd just like to know from people who have and tried many phones which would be good for me, a college student that wants a nice phone with all the features I had mentioned above. So if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it and details are always, always awesome.
Especially concerning each of the things I want the phone to have.
and can you get better plans by going into the store? Much of a difference?
