Can I get onto the Internet with an iMac ?

My computer is an iMac with an "Easter egg" design that came in one of several decorator colors . I heard that these computers are too old to get onto the Internet with . Is this true ? A lot of people are on the Internet with an old dinosaur of a computer . Why should I be any different ? How can an iMac not be able to get onto the Internet ? That's what iMacs are for ? Could I get somebody to come to my house and get my computer on the Internet ? Thank you in advance for your answers .
