...rushed into tonight? The sales person wanted the sale through right away and didn't even want to answer my questions, but gave me a number *611 to call (which is closed).

he lied to me on several points and I don't want anything to do with this specific sales person.

I also didn't even really verbally agree. I said it sounds like a good idea and then he gave me that number.... do you think they'll make me stick on it if i call right away tommorow?
 
I'm not 100% sure how it works with Telus but with AT&T you have 30 days to return the phone you purchased and cancel the contract without being billed a penalty. I would call 611 tomorrow and explain to them the situation, they'll be able to help you out better than a sales person would.
 
Only way to find out is to call and explain what took place.
