Can I get US Citizenship through being in a lesbian relationship?

If your spouse is a US citizen and you marry (maybe before that?), you can also become a US citizen. Does it work the same for gay people?
Wow, I did NOT know there were so many disgusting racist homophobes on this site. That's a surprise.

No it doesn't work AT ALL for gay people. Even though some states recognize gay marriage, on the federal level it's not recognized AT ALL. And the body of government that issues green cards and approves immigration statuses are on the federal level. So no go. Do not collect $200.

Gay marriage is not recognized at the federal level and is only recognized at state level in some states. Therefore, the answer to your question is "No."

Maybe where gay marriage is legal, assuming the same rights are given to homosexual couples as to heterosexual couples.

It is available in Canada which is far better than US anyway so ignore this racist guy who commented first. Let them have their dying country. It's already in debt and in shambles with their Obama administration.

You can apply with your partner in Canada or if you have a partner living in Canada, its much easier. The US is not the super power anymore. They already owe China a lot of money, so technically China owns most of the US soil if they want their trillion dollars back.
