Can I hook up my Xbox 360 to my HP Touchsmart 300 PC?

I bought a VGA HD AV Cable from Xbox. The cable has an AV connector that hooks up to the console and a VGA connector and audio connectors that hook up to the computer.

As far as I can tell, there is no VGA input on my computer, but the instructions mention something about "additional equipment" to connect the VGA to my computer. Is this some kind of adapter?
