Can I introduce a new leopard gecko in with my current gecko?

I had 2 leopard geckos, one was a female and she has just died of liver failure due to an infection from not ovulating properly. The pair has been together since birth and the one remaining seems very lonely. I would like to introduce a new gecko of about the same size to offer him/her some companionship. Please let me know if this is possible as I am not able to find out if it is a good idea.

Not a good idea. Leopard geckos are solitary and only come together to mate and breed. Even then they are not together very long. If you do plan on breeding then get another tank for the female. That way if the male doesn't like her he wouldn't stress her out or kill her. How large is the tank you have the male in?
