Can I keep my iTouch apps while syncing music from another computer?

Basically, here's the deal. I got a bunch of apps on one account, but whenever I plug in my music on that account, it asks me to erase and sync. That would mean getting rid of the apps I have... So my account doesn't work. But my friend's account has lots of good music, so I was wondering if there was some way that I could keep my apps and get my friend's music? Because I'm going to lose my apps, no matter where I sync it to, unless there's another way.
