Can I put the Samsung Memoir on the Verizon network?

If I buy the Samsung Memoir from a third party and take it to a verizon wireless store can it be put on their network? Thanks.
 
The Memoir is a GSM phone. Verizon is a CDMA network.

Here's a key:
Sprint & Verizon- CDMA network, not interchangeble
T-Mobile & AT&T- GSM (world standard) network, interchangeable (but not for 3G) with each other and European phones.
A CDMA phone cannot be used on a GSM network and vice versa (unless like the Blackberry Storm it is specifically designed to do so)
 
no not possible its from tmobile which uses SIM cards, verizon doesnt. the only thing you can do is put it on at&t. if you get a sprint phone you can put it on verizon. tmobile=at&t sprint=verizon
