Can I send a story to a publisher without editing it?

I mean, I don't have terrible grammar. I would read it and fix whatever mistakes I find. The problem is that I have no one to edit it for me (who knows all the grammar rules), so I want to do it myself. If I have a few misplaced comas, or some sentences that don't flow as nicely as they could, will the publisher care?
