can i spray paint my entire bike?

if i just put a little grease on the moving parts, can i just spray the whole thing? spokes/brakes/pedals and all?
it's a thrift store junker, so i'm not looking for it to look good/correct, i just want it to be uniform, just cover everything up.
but of course it still has to ride...
