I promised my 5 year old a dog; recently, I made good on my word and got him an 8 week old pup. Unfortunately, the dog has taking much more of a liking to my 1 year old. My oldest son is now getting a little sad about this because he wants the dog to sleep in his room, but the dog won't leave mine or my 1 year old's side. However, the dog treats my oldest son and my fiance the same - he will go to them and play with them, but if me or my youngest come into the room he completely ignores daddy and oldest son. How can I get my puppy to treat my oldest son as he does me?
