i have a 1990 dodge d150 (V8 5.2 litre engine) and i recently put on a thrush glass pack and noticed its not loud at all. it sounds exactly what it did with the stock muffler. so i was wondering if i could take off the catalytic converter because it seems to be very restrictive. the only thing is that there's a little black sensor on the left side of it and i guess that's the o2 sensor. its a carborated engine so does it need the sensor and the cat??? im really dieing to take off the cat to make it louder and actually sound like a v8. thanks everyone!!!!
