I'm a college student and I have a small betta fish (his name is Louie 
). For thanksgiving.. and xmas break I am planning to go home and obviously need to bring Louie too. It takes about 2-3 hours to get home on the train... can I put him in a plastic tupperware container with a lid (to prevent spilling water)?
I won't just be sitting the whole time. I need to switch trains (from chicago el to the metra) and walk home from the train stop too, so I can't carry him in the tank he is in now.
Hopefully this isn't too stupid of a question, this is my first fish.. I've only had him for a month.
