can i trade in my ds and get a dsi for 30 dollars?

Depends where you go. You could probably get a fair bit of store credit at Game Stop or EB Games for it with the games included and buy a DSI with it for a lot cheaper.

if your going to gamestop, they will rip you off on pricing no doubt, but with your GBA games, you should be able to get it for around 35$-40$ also depending on what condition your DS is in.
