Can i unlock an Iphone and put my T-mobile sim card in it and use it?

i want to know how to unlock an iphone 4 or 3rd gen. anybody know a website that can teach me how to unlock them. Also, can i use my T-mobile sim card with it? Can i be able to download games and music from the T-mobile internet? Please tell me.
 
Heya, I actually only wanted to let virtually all apple fans discover that they now have a overstock of apple iphone 4's and so are giving away them but you have to be super quick.

I actually acquired mine last night in the mail!

Beaware there is not unlock for the iPhone 4 yet. It has been created, but not released to the public. As far as the 3GS & lower there are unlocks out.
