I have a radar detector for my car and the first capacitor in the unit coming in from the power cord got blown because I accidentally reversed the polarity. All I have in terms of capacitors is a 16 volt 1000uf however the one blown looks like a 16 volt 100uf. Would it still work if I put the 1000uf in?
