...birds in Newfoundland? Was just wondering cause I was gonna buy a single shot 16 and just wanted to make sure that it was legal to hunt with. I know I should get a pump but I like the added difficulty that a single shot presents.
Didn't know how to reply lol. new to this yahoo anwser site. I feel that a 12 gauge is to much for rabbits and a .410 isn't enough for game birds so I chose the medium, Plus I am getting it for $150,so its cheap . Not sure about shell prices but I can make shells last for awhile.

Check with your local game management agency, akin to our Department of Natural Resources. Not sure what that would be in Canada. Mostly gauges between 410 and 10 ga are acceptable. 16 ga ammo is pretty expensive where I am. What makes you interested in that? Just Curious.

Cheers on appreciating the challenge. Many hunters are getting away from that nowadays.
