Can I use Blackberry apps at no charge using my Wifi connection?

If I do not have a data plan (just texting and calling) am I able to connect to my computer's wifi connection and download & use apps without paying my provider? (Example: downloading the facebook app, or even browsing the net?)

Most apps (FB, WLM, BBM, Y!M etc) require data and will not work with wi-fi.

You can use wi-fi and the browser to browse the internet but most apps will not work.

yes if they are free on the store, additional network charge (non-wifi) may apply if you use it without the wifi but otherwise internet is totally free :D
