can i use my 24" imac as a monitor for my pc?

i have both and i only want 1 monitor in my desk because i don't have much room

You can if it lets you. On typical PC's, the VGA port on the back connector on the monitor is usually 15 pins and 3 rows. If you see that on your 24 inch imac, then you can try that, if you don't see it, then it wont work. You might need a special converter or splitter.
