Can I use my unlocked my LG Neon (LG GT365) with T-Mobile service?

I have an unlocked LG Neon currently on AT&T, but the plan is really expensive. Since the phone is unlocked, would I have a problem switching providers to T-Mobile and keeping the same phone? I know that most AT&T phones and T-Mobile phones are on a GSM network. I just wanted to know for sure if it'd be worth it to cancel my current AT&T plan to try to go to T-Mobile if it might not work.
