...than the divx player's burner? Like for eg. I use my divx player to burn up to 4-5 movies on one disc! Like i got ocean 11-13 on one disc and it works beautifully on my dvd player which by the way is divx enabled! so i was wondering if programs like roxio or newer versions of nero allow u to use the majority of the 4.7 gig disc! I only ask because when using DVDFlick one 700mb movie is 95% of the disc and after waiting for half an hour 2 gigs are missing from my computer and there is no progress with the burning! Can anyone help with suggestions and or opinions/info about nero or roxio that isn't just links to wikipedia! Also what are your opinions on the Divx burner!

if you just want to put avi's on a dvd and play them in the divx pplayer theres no point using dvdflick as it converts the file to mpeg-2 which is the standard for dvd players that are not divx compatible. of course this uses more space!

Just get your burning sofware, make a data dvd, and add as many avi's as will fit. You would be lucky to find files that would total exactly the capacity of a dvd5 but you will fit a lot more on than you will converting them to mepg2. BTW, the useable capacity of a dvdblank is 4.38gig, as I understand it. Something to do with the filesystem...

I use this

I have nero but this is better for just putting together a movie disk of xvid/divx films as there's less clicking involved.
