I want to get the lg prada 2 for my bday but idk if it will work here in the US on tmobile. can i just put my sim card in and it will work? Will i be able to send and receive pic messages?

Yes; the LG Prada models can be set up for use with T-Mobile. It works on 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 mHz bands. It will not work with our 3G network, however, as it does not access the 1700 mHz band on which our 3G network runs.
