I have a dell dimension 3000 its 8years old and instead of buying a new computer I wanted to just update the hardware. My ram is currentley 512mb total, i wanted to increase this to at least 1.5GB of ram, can my computer take that much? Could it handle more? also I wanted to get a dvd drive (an external one) to burn dvds and such, will any one external dvd drive work? thanks you, buying on tuesday so best answer will be given promptly.
