I don't know very much about computers and I would definitely appreciate any help. I have a laptop Dell Inspiron 1525, running on Windows XP, which i bought back in July of 2008. Now in September, I started having issues with it. It started to freeze completely and I would have to do a manual shut down. Then I was getting an error screen about a NTFS file and that I needed to run a disk check. Just recently I called in Dell Tech Support and they had me run a test and my pc had a mest-up hard drive.I as well had an audio connector not working so I sent it to the Dell Repair Depot, and a couple of days later I received my pc. Now at the depot they did a Motherboard replace and fixed my connector. Why a Motherboard and not the hard drive??? So again I contacted DELL! They stated that the repairs were done accordingly to the testing done there at the depot. What??? I received my replacement hard drive(refurbished) installed it and now when i log on or log off it seems to be running kind of slow is that normal??
