can my PSP video game catch a virus when i am on the internet?

my psp's internet doesnt work anymore and ive tried different wireless connections and it still doesnt work even though when i test the connection it say it works, but then i try to get on the internet the page fades , so now you can see the internet page and the psp home page at the same time, but i cant move anything on the internet page just the psp page
